I like the look of the open-ended. I'm thinking about adding blue lug nuts to mine but don't want them to be too bold. So hey, if you do sell and want to ship, let me know

I'll let you know, but I wouldn't sit and wait for me unless you're not in any sort of hurry... the lugs work, and I am trying to focus my funds right now on the performance side of things. I would probably swap the lugs further down the line and time it with rotating the wheels or getting new wheels.

Today I'm officially announcing bad/annoying things.

1) Getting a quarter sized rock chip filled in my windshield today. Thank you Louisiana.
2) Tomorrow, C'thulhu is being dropped off to have the transmission replaced due to a bad 5th synchro, I guess SoA still isn't allowing dealers to crack open the trannies.
3) while on my road trip, C'thulhu developed the rpm hunt at idle and will likely be getting the ecu flashed by the dealer during the same visit as the transmission work.

Le sigh.

So yesterday I dropped C'thulhu off at the dealer for the two warranty issues and I am having them change my oil as well (I trust my dealer and it is free). Also, I am exchanging my koni yellows for Bilstein B8 shocks/struts. I should have my car back by the end of next week (I was quoted Tuesday, but I am expecting Thursday/Friday) and then as soon as I am in possession of the Bilsteins it will be go time with the suspension!

I got C'thulhu back yesterday evening and the verdict is that the new transmission feels like butter compared to the old one. It is much easier to get it into all the gears. Since this is my first manual car, I had no idea what it SHOULD feel like. I thought that was what "notchy" was supposed to feel like. It used to be fairly common once every other day or so, I would miss a shift or grind a gear; I thought it was me as a relative newbie stick shift driver making mistakes. I now believe that the transmission was mostly responsible for that. I pretty well had shifting figured out by the end of the "break in" period. I am still waiting to get my shocks all sorted out, but once that is all in the past (including installation), I am thinking shifter bushings are next. I will be reading the street and street touring allowances to triple check that whatever I do purchase will be legal for autocross. Although I probably should start saving for wheels and tires.... since those will have the biggest impact on my performance (excluding driver abilities lol). I am not sure if I am having more confidence in driving leading to more aggressive cornering or what, but I have noticed that C'thulhu is a lot more willing to slide the back end out than it was before.

So I got the bilsteins ordered today, I hope to have an eta soon. Thanks @FT-86 SpeedFactory for making the exchange almost effortless! I cannot wait to get the B8's installed with my Tarmac's.

So I "received" my Bilstein B8's today... however I accidentally had them shipped to my parents house, so I won't actually have possession of them until Thursday when I will be meeting up with my parents for lunch... Now the next step is installing these bad boys and following up with an alignment.

I am officially ready to party, these are crappy smartphone pictures, but you all get the idea. If all goes as planned, I'll have them installed on Monday! I am missing a washer from one of the rear shocks, but that should be easy enough to solve.

I almost forgot, a very extra special thanks to Yo from @FT-86 SpeedFactory for facilitating the exchange of the Koni Yellow shocks for the Bilstein B8's!
