These look very interesting. Was going to go RCE Greys...but, now I have another option and a hard decision, lol - RCE Tarmacs or Swift BRZ springs. Want the Tarmac's firmer rates..but also, I like the Swift's material-technology and the stance/drop more.

I was dead set on going with RCE yellows, but after reading this thread I ended up with swift BRZ. No regrets.

I never seen those...thanks! My top choice was the RCE Tarmacs, strictly for firm rates...but its' high ride height at only .8" drop was really making me hesitant (as it kinda looks stock still). While, all the other springs at least gave a full 1"-1.5" drop (although, with much too soft spring rates). Now...you can have BOTH - firm rates and a full 1" drop! ![]() ![]() ![]() Swift Sport BRZ (and, pretty much all the other springs really.. too soft) FR - 3.8/4.5kgmm - -27/-25mm RCE Tarmac (too high): FR - 5/5.2kgmm - -20/-20mm Swift Spec-R (perfect!): FR - 4.4/5.3kgmm - -28/-25mm Now..the question is....who has them available/in-stock? ![]() . |

The spring rates on the Spec R springs are definitely bordering (or slightly over the edge) of what the stock dampers are happy with, but they're not so bad that it'll blow them instantly. I would bet that you would notice a big handling improvement with a set of Koni or Bilstein shocks though.
