I'm running the Innovate kit but always run E85 at the track. No issues on my end.

Well, we'll have to see as soon as I can get some dyno time, but 190-200 is what my tuner estimates based on other tunes he's done with similar exhaust setups.
On phone I am. Therefore, if mistakes I make, Frank Oz blame you should.

Quick Q for the more aerodymanics experienced.
I have a vented hood. I am also running without the metal skid plate and the other black one right behind it. My questions are regarding the skid plate, Am I helping hot air exit quicker/better? Am I destroying aerodynamics of the car when going high MPH?

A general rule for vents/cooling, for things like aircraft and model aircraft cowlings, is the exit hole needs to be at least twice as big as the inlet hole.
I think this would hold true for our cars as well. The bigger the engine bay exhaust opening, the better I think. Engine bay air exiting out under the engine is not the most ideal aerodynamically, but I'm not sure how much it really matters on our cars. If you can make the outlet openings larger, and also make the inlet larger/more effective, I think that's the best scenario. |

dI would love to see some graphs supporting that..with that said, many tuners can manipulate the numbers on average many people claim 15-20 whp gains with full exhaust and tune and many of the graphs I've seen so far has the dip ..even with the header and tune, so those optimistic numbers are just exception imo

Why do so many people not understand the concept of radiant heat vs heat soak?
I'm saying turbos have to deal with BOTH, whereas superchargers do not. When you're cooking on your stove, and you can "feel" the heat when you get close, that is radiant heat. When you keep your hand in that spot where you feel the radiant heat, and it starts to burn, that's heat soak. If you reduce the number of items (and thus, surface area) of the sources of radiant heat, you reduce heat soak. SC: header Turbo: turbo manifold/header, turbo, exhaust/dump piping, turbo itself. |

E85 cools down engine a lot, although not overheating but doesnt mean the engine output is not affected by hear soaking, i ran with one guy with Innovate SC at Laguna Seca before and he wasnt pulling away from me on straight I really want to run E85 on the track but no track around me supplies E85, and i dont wanna carry 50 gallons of E85 each time going to the track.... I think JR SC is looking very good so far but just need more testing data from CSG Mike Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkfQ

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I highly doubt you will get 200whp on a Mustang dyno with headers, over pipe, front pipe, exhaust and tune on 91

@RehabJeff86 I'm sure there is some heat soak towards the end of the session. I'm fortunate, there is E85 on the way so I fill to the max and bring a spare 5 gallon jug or two and I'm good for the day. I only run E85 about 10% of the time on the street but it's benefits make sense for the track.
I have a lightweight tow hitch so I can put a small tire trailer on my car and tow. When I went to VIR, I just used a UHaul sport trailer and borrowed a bunch of jugs and filled with E85. A little bit of a hassle but it works for me.

To reduce heat soak, you need air exchange.
