9.7 is high, but he has little to no credit. At this point in his life he has to pay to play.
Lets just hope he makes his payments and in a year he should be able to refinance down to 4% without to much work. I would have done the same if I wanted it badly enough at his age. CONGRATS!

Payments with the extended warranty come to about $350, its a 60 month. I do plan of refinancing it once I have some credit to my name. I got a 45 mile drive to work (one way) so this thing should keep me pretty entertained. Before this I was driving a 2003 Monte Carlo SS, and while it had a bit more power to the wheels it was a FWD 4spd auto, this will keep me happy
 I kind of like the red lip, but the blue calipers are a bit annoying, I can see it flaking off in spots

That dealership had quite a few FRS' surprisingly. I was looking at a white one a while back, but it had more miles and was pricier than the red one. You got a deal!
