Mishimoto question
Hey guys, quick question. If I replace my FR-S OEM radiator for a Mishimoto one and then add a Mishimoto oil cooler, will this leave space to add a turbo inter cooler later on? Thank you!

This will ensure that the oil reaches proper operating temperature in a timely fashion. Our sandwich plate is set to activate at 185°F, but we have additional temperature thermostats as well. Unfortunately the FA20 engine oil filter housing is a unique setup and will not allow for the use of a standard style sandwich plate by itself. Please reference the image below! ![]() The spacer you see on the bottom is CNC'd from billet aluminum and raises the sandwich plate above the lip of the oil filter housing. The housing has a cup-like top which collects residual oil when the filter is removed. Check it out below. ![]() So the first components is a spacer which raises the sandwich plate above this lip so it fits correctly. On top of the sandwich plate we utilize our own cup-like CNC component which emulates the responsibilities of the one from the factory and prevents the spill of oil during a filter swap. It is because of these CNC components that we highly recommend the direct-fit kit. Additionally, we include a direct-fit bracket for the BRZ/FR-S which securely mounts the cooler in a location with great airflow for optimal cooling efficiency.
