Being such an early purchaser, I used to get comments CONSTANTLY, at least 8-10 a week.

After almost 2 years though, I very rarely get anything anymore. I'll get a couple of "how fast is she?" or the occasional thumbs up. I don't even get noticed in the spotted thread. :P

most recent one for me was this dude who rolled up besides me at a light in the passenger seat of a saturn L500 sedan, leaned out the window and said "I WANNA CALL YOU A FUCKING ASSHOLE BUT THATS A SWEET CAR YOU ASSHOLE"

i must have cut in front of him at some point hahaha so i just laughed and said thanks man.

1. Parked outside this Chinese food restaurant and the Asian workers were just staring at my car.

2. Looking at my rear view mirror some Asian chick in an XB took a picture of my car!

3. Leaving a hotel and packing my stuff in the trunk some dudes were like nice ride!

I've also got tons of compliments on the gas cap sticker. I was gonna peel it off, but everybody loves it

I love seeing other WRB wrx's on the road. We both mirror and nod our heads.

I hate when I roll up on another nicely modded car and stare at them, and they just stare straight forward. I'm thinking.. "MAN, if he were a true car guy he would've acknowledged"

when i go out to lunch with one of my co-workers, she usually drives as she parks in an open parking lot whereas i park in the covered structure which is twice the distance away. when she initially asked my why, i explained that it keeps the car cooler, cleaner and preserves the paint better. she asked 'what car do you have?' and i replied 'just a little subaru', and we left it at that. that was about 4 months ago.
recently, she's started carpooling, so last week when we went out to lunch, i had to drive. when we got to my BRZ, i said 'this is me'. and she exclaimed 'THIS is your little subaru? this car is SEXY! you made it out to be some kind of little granny car or something'.
all i could do was laugh and give her a brief summary of the BRZ/FR-S thing.
on the way back from lunch, she said again 'i LIKE this car. you're going to have to drive more often from now on'. 'no worries' i said.

At a stop light I was bumpin some music.. and heard.. "HEY!.. HEYYYYY!"

I looked over and these 2 dudes in a modded Xterra were eyeing the car. The passenger goes.. "I REALLY.. LOVE your car man!" He started asking about 0-60 and the traffic started flowing. Probably a good thing I didn't answer

There's a guy who always sees me aggressively driving through the apartment complex. He said today "Man you must beat the hell outta that thing!"

And I'm like.. "Sorry, it drives like a gokart, I'm getting 30mpg".. he looked at me like I was crazy. We then talked for 20 minutes like old friends

Then at work the other day, one of our japanese coworkers stopped me.. "Is it you? You have the.. blue.. Suabru?" me: "Yeah I love it".. him "Wow, it is amazing!" Everyone I work with has bland sedans and SUVs. I plan to mod the shit out of this thing. The only other cool car in the lot is a Focus ST. :p

I get the usual, is it fast, what kind of car is that, it's a Subaru, but the best is when little kids point and say mom look...I always give 'em a thumbs up.

Went to pick up my boyfriend at NTB the other day--he was dropping off his '10 Genesis 3.8 Track to have his summer tires put on. The guy checking him in was like, "Wow, you guys both have awesome cars!" I said, "Yeah, his is faster but mine's more fun." The guy goes, "No way!" He didn't believe my car was slower. I got to give the boyfriend a hard time about it because he always has to have a faster car than me (he bought his 3.8 the day after I bought my 2.0t and beat his GTI).

A friend at work saw me pulling out.
"Nice car what is it?"
"It's a Subaru"
He gives me a weird face and shakes his head like "Yeah right!"
And then he walks around the back to look at the badge because he didnt believe me.

I come out of a Conoco and an older lady is just standing there staring at my car.
I walk up to it and she says "Is this your car?!"
Yes - I reply.
"What is it?" - "It's a subaru"
"It's just gorgeous!"
As I get in and drive away, she is still dumbfounded "It's gorgeous!" she is repeating...
Two people have stopped and walked up my driveway while I was working in the garage to ask questions about it.
