a couple of reasonable choices

go to your dealer for a paint pen or DR. Colorchip They have the exact match for your vehicle.

No you could definitely use a paint pen! but you don't need the color side just the clear (I think)

If that doesn't do the trick you could get a clear paint chip repair. Add the clear into the scratch to "fill" it, then remove excess with a rubbing compound. repeat until the scratch is gone. I know the toyota paint pens have a clear coat on one side. Might work.

This.
I had a few big scratches on my bumper that looked as deep as your scratches. Got myself meguiars ultimate compound from CT. Had to rub it in hard and the scratches disappeared. Don't be discouraged if it doesn't work the first time. For a few of the bigger scratches, I had to rub at least ten times before it disappeared.

And I would suggest you take it to someone who knows what they're doing if you decide to go the paint pen route. From those pictures, doesn't seem like you need to tho.

I'd suggest Meguiars scratch remover only if the scratch isn't to the metal or deep enough that there's no pigment inside the actual scratch. Unless the scratch is thread thin, its a waste of time.

Dr Colorchip won't work.

There's a mobile paint repair guy on Toronto Subaru Club forum that a lot of people recommend. At the very minimum he could look at your pics or take a look at the damage and let you know if he can work his miracles. Last resort, body shop respray.

Damn, I'm so sorry to hear that. This is one of the things I dread most happening to me - and I work in that area as well.

Regarding a spot fix, from what I've seen, some professionals can do it pretty well to the point where it will be barely noticeable, but will still show a slight hint of it. the other option would be a respray.blend of panels, which would be more invasive to the integrity of the original paint.

You can give Chipmasters in Markham a call as they specialize in spot fixes
pm me if you want a recommendation of additional shops.
