BRZ review in USA Today

Test Drive in USA Today reviewed the BRZ in today's paper. Obviously it's not any new information, but it's yet another positive review.

"Overall: Yowzah!"

Hehe

Is this the first review to actually call the price out at $26,000 vice $25,000? Not trying to start another speculation thread, just an observation.

Sigh, another report of how stiff it is around town. Hope there are some decent shocks available right off the bat.

May have included destination in that.

"Even a light right foot yank the buggy to 60 mph so quickly that it's a major threat to your driver's license"

What I like to hear. That's a real world perception of the speed of the car, and what I would expect. I don't put a stop watch to my acceleration, I just want to know how it makes me feel.

To be fair, while reading the review I get the feeling that the author is used to reviewing SUVs and sedans rather than cars like this. It did not read like he pushed it, and seems like his personal calibration is tuned towards softer rides. It seemed cars like the BRZ are more of a rare treat to the author instead of the norm. Despite his one or two little niggles with the car, it seems his overall assessment is highly positive so that is very promising.
