I'm up in west Bloomfield although my brother lives in Royal Oak so I'm around. I've been DD'ing my BRZ since I picked it up but just moved to MI this winter.

Does this group ever hold meets? And who's showing up with what on Sunday, I run my STi so look for white and a wing instead of red and slow :P

I live in Livonia and work in downtown Detroit so I'm usually driving in and out of the city. When I'm not driving to/from work, most of the places I go are along the 696 corridor.

@R L Newb We had a couple meets last year. Not many people showed up though. Its really up to whoever wants to plan them. If you seem me around, feel free to say hi. I drive a Galaxy Blue BRZ with red painted taillights and black wheels.

I'm willing to have something but I live in up in Davison. If you guys wanted to make the drive I am more than happy to have something at my place. Otherwise with some advance notice I am willing to drive down there. I have a bunch of cool places for group photos and plenty of parking where I live which seems to be the biggest draw back to other places.

I finally saw one yesterday 4/23/14. White FRS with tribal decals near the rear flares.

Rode with me from 6 Mile 275 Ramp all the way to E696.

I would really like to see more at meets or just in the road. My route everyday is Woodward 696 Westbound to exit 6 Mile Rd and 275 around 7-730am and 4-4:30pm.

I live in Plymouth around old town and work in Livonia. Excluding going to hang out with people that drive them I see a twin maybe once every three months. I'll keep an eye out for you. Actually, if you work close to xccelerated performance you can't be too far from where I work (6 and 275) if you want to grab lunch sometime.

Davison isn't too bad of a drive (practically all highway for me).
I would be interested, as long as I have an unreasonable amount of advance notice. I am looking at June 14th being my next available weekend... :/ lol

Yeah I work in Beck and M14. I just take 6 mile to Beck to avoid the potholes in M14. I am down to meet. Do you know anyone with a Perrin Exhaust? I am in a market for one and I want to hear it in person.

Has anyone local done a trans and dif oil swap?

I've been thinking about this for a while and I'm just about ready to pull the trigger. It sounds like Pentosin MTF2 and Motul Gear 300 are the two popular choices. I think the Motul is the way I'd rather go based on what I've read about the performance of it. Plus the bottle has a nice spout that makes it really easy to fill directly without needing a pump or funnel, etc..

I was pricing out Motul.. It's about $20 a bottle. I would need 4 bottles for both Trans and Diff. So it would be about $80.

I checked Amazon.. i could get a full case for $160 shipped. That's 12 bottles.

Does anyone want to go in with me? 12 bottles would be enough for 3 people. That would be under $55 each.. a lot better than $80.
