Straps are still a work in progress. The leather once the cable was ran as you pulled it it stretched, the nylon is much sturdier and honestly I kind of like the all red. We are still thinking of how to improve.

Rear view mirror fell off driving home...went to dealer today, there's a TSB for the metal bracket stripping out, they ordered me a new one should be here soon. No RVM is annoying as fuck.

first of all, i hated not having an armrest so the OEM armrest was a must. then i was really not happy with the fact that there isn't enough cubby room/holes in the car, nowhere to put my phone, etc etc. so i decided to change it up and make this interior more to what I like and would want.

i unded up relocating a few things. here is so far what is done:

1) pushstart went where heated seats were.
2) Heated seat went infront of shifter by each seat
3) cut out the limited din thats next to push start button, cut center console, molded it to fit.
4) Add JPM coach works genuine leather kneed pads and speaker pads.
5) since pushstart is gone, i will use the bigger Premium brz din up front.
6) Mold center trim into one piece
7) wrap hvac surrouns
8) wrap vent rings

here is where it started, and what it turned out like. i molder glued and did the relocating. Its wrapped by Overland04 (nasioc name) and the fabric is genuine blakc alcantara from JPM.

i will update once everything is in the car, let me know what you think.

and here are the photos:

final results:

PART 2 of my over haul

replacing door handles with GT2 RS style pull straps, added perforated alcantara to door cards, wrapped/stirched hood/ebrake/center vent

next time please don't quote every photo.

i'd love to help others out, but jason @Overland Designs is more than capable of doing anything you would want. he recently did a similar setup like mine just no din or relocation of push start, but heated seats were changed.

info here: http://overland-designs.com

just say ivan said to contact him.

relocating the actual push start is something more involved as you have to extend wiring which is extremely thin so i really must tell you to do so at your own risk.

no way, i like the leather. if you notice i have a combination of alcantara and leather throughout my interior, it helps break up the sea of plastic, if you do all alcantara its too much, all leather its too much...etc etc.

i did the e-brake in alcantara to blend in, but i don't want the shift boot to blend in. it matches the knee pads well and gives a nice contrast/balance to the interior i think. its very easy to go too crazy with alcantara, and i try to have a nice combination of leather, alcantara, and red stitching to make it look like something that very well could have been OEM, thats how i want my interior to look, elegant and almost OEM-ish

i do appreciate the constructive criticism, keep it coming!

never really thought about reproducing it...i just do it for myself and share with people.

photos and write ups are all in this thread, its just a lot of trial and error and mostly custom fab work.

if you're local i can help you out, but i won't be selling this...its not really a plug and plaything as you see from all the research i've had to do to fit this, even still its a work in progress.

i'm sure jason @Overland Designs would be happy to help you with any of your interior modding ideas if i can't. he's a wizard.

my interior re-design

@OP how the perforated alcantara door side panel was done? just glue? Very good job on everything but this is my favorite part.

@Overland Designs would be the one to contact, he gets all kinds of cool shit and is an interior wizard.

i merely fabricate everything, he wraps it and makes it look like a million bucks
