Track Video/Audio Test | SC FRS

GINGERMAN AUDIO AND VIDEO TRACK TESTING

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGcv6SKj858"]Vortech FR-S Track Testing | Audio and Video Testing - YouTube[/ame]

As we get ready to actually start driving the cars this year wanted to get feedback on the audio, video and in car editing. Our focus was trying to get angles, exposure and sound dialed in. So this was our test.

BRAKES @CSG Mike

New alignment and finally getting to test the Counterspace Garage supplied Project Mu 999.

They worked amazing, very happy with them compared to the DS2500 and DS Uno. They had great initial bite, very strong braking however had some issues with straight line stability under heavy braking, car started to squirm more than with the Ferodos. But overall best track pads I have run so far and even dusting was not crazy.

OHLINS SUSPENSION

We ran 4 clicks front and 7 rear in the end. Impressions of the kit is that its a perfect street/track combo. However if you are looking for more track oriented setup you will probably want to go for higher rate springs or a straight up track coilover setup. But the fact that these can go fairly firm on track and then very soft on street makes it a real world usable setup. But as we keep saying make a car track and street friendly is very hard.

VIDEO STILLS

Did you test with or without the pedal dance, or both?

I'm glad you like my favorite pads!

We only tried with it VSC Sport and all off. Only one sweeper where the VSC came back on. But next session I will try the pedal dance, hopefully it helps.

Also do your CP8350s leak from the bleeders?
I had fluid dribbling down side of caliper, was somewhat worrying.

Only when they were brand, brand new. After that, nope.

Pinky tightened per instructions. Then double pinky tightened when leaked.
Was careful about it.

Better for automotive shooting. Image stabilization, better battery life, better audio, standard camera mounts, and rock solid stability. No freezing, over heating or anxiety of not getting footage.

Went from GoPro2 to silver and black. Ditched the black and silver after horrid battery life and freezing/power off events.

I now have 6 Sony cams, two of the new 50Mb models.
