I don't remember a Borla option when I was ordering

Thank you!! I think the borla is a SET(Southeast toyota) port option only.

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your new car! :-D
And the colour is great ;-) If you want to see how it looks like with the TRD kit, you can take a look at my thread :-)

Cheers

Welcome fellow Ultramariner!

If you're going the route of autox/hpde, you'll soon be looking to upgrade the brakes, tires and suspension...All of which there's plenty of info for, here on these forums!

Have fun, I have no doubt you're going to LOVE your FR-S

I can't claim to race these days, not really anyway. Raced road a lot in college, then lost interest in that because collegiate was much more engaging than USCF/USAC. Still did the occasional MTB race locally (XC and twice did 24Hrs), but haven't done one in 2-3 years now. Still ride every weekend for fun/fitness. I have tons of great riding locally, both road and dirt.

Being a professional biker you probably accelerated faster than the car does.

Lol, I think 0-30mph were pretty close, but there's no suffering when I'm accelerating the FR-S just pure fun and adrenalin!!

Great! Congratulations! Beautiful. Your photos have made me rethink the entire ultramarine color issue.

I dig your story.
I'm an ex pro BMXer, CAT2 RR, Track, Single-Speed Cyclocross racer(current), a lifetime surfer and former Firefighter.
I never competed at your level - though I tried like hell - lol.
That said, I also got into motorsports to fill that adrenaline void.
Furthermore, I too purchased an FRS in ultramarine.
Enjoy your new chapter in asphalt-adrenaline... you've more than earned it.
