The response is instant, just like NA... no lag at all.

However the Rotrex doesn't add gobs of low-mid rage torque like a turbo.

What it does do is make the engine feel like a giant sport bike engine. There is no lag, no spooling, but the power just keeps building (but at a linear rate).

I will post my 1zzfe dyno again below... again this started at 125 rwhp. The toruqe is pretty flat from 4500 - 7500.

280bhp or about 10:1 power-to-weight ratio is what I want. I've never driven a centrifugal blower-equipped car and I hear it's not quite as responsive as a roots-style blower but I'm sure it will kick ass nonetheless!

Here's a good video promoting the Rotrex S/C and if Kraftwerks makes a kit in the $32-3500 range, well sorry HK$ but you won't be getting my money:

Yes and I've seen 300 whp 16v turbo 4AGE. So?

Find a dyno graph of a Lysholm twin-screw on a 4AGE, making the same boost as the Rotrex and you'll see what I'm talking about.

"Our first dyno plot pulled 208rwhp with a blower half the size smaller then the one we are using for the kit. We ended up making 260rwhp with 220ftlbs at 21 psi with this smaller blower."

So better, yes. I can't find a pic of the actual dyno plot, but...

Has to be an Eaton or twin screw if you want a nice flat torque curve.

That would be ideal for this motor if they can fit it.

Ding!

Unfortunately with packaging it looks like it would have to be a style that is integrated with the intake manifold.

Just to throw something out there for consideration, URD makes a Rotrex-based supercharger kit for the Toyota Tacoma. It's quite potent.

That page says 172PS to 250PS, if this is similar to the baseline dyno from the video, then thats a 78PS increase. roughly 75hp or so gain over stock. Pretty nice.

Looks like there is some form of air/air intercooling setup as the outlet of the compressor goes down into the bumper and then comes back up through just off center to the throttle body. Appears to be no external injection setup, likely remapped the factory ECU or using an F-CON piggy back.

its says:

この仕様で250馬力です。

エンジンがまるっきりのノーマルの為、ブーストも抑えめの0.6

これ以上ブーストをかけるには、
ピストンとコンロッドを交換しないと、壊れちゃう…かも。

which google translates to:

250 hp in this specification. Normal for Marukkiri, 0.6 second boost engine is also reduced to make a boost more than this, and do not replace the piston and connecting rod, will break ... Perhaps.
