Good HQ pics. The red accents are ok I guess. Doesn't bother me but it would probably look better w/o it.

I wouldn't believe the red is this in your face in person. Red is the most difficult color to photograph accurately, and they probably worked on making the red pop more. That being said, if the red does look too intense, I'm going to try to get some alcantara covers when the aftermarket makes them.

With a certain color, it might not be a clash. It could complement the paint quite well.

On the auto transmission it basically starts you off in second gear to keep you from spinning. Not sure it does anything else.

My MR2 had these same color seats in them except the bolsters were black and the inserts were red. I like to think these are a throwback to that look. Of course since I'm getting a Firestorm, it is OK. Not sure I'd want it on a blue car.

I like the interior. Does not look like a 25K interior but for this car less is more and that is a good thing.

anyone else notice the jdm interior has the stitched padding in the footwells on the sides of the center panel (for some reason every name for car interior sections eludes me at the moment, but the center column for hvac, radio, etc), but the frs doesn't? Then again, I don't recall mention of that being included on any U.S models (didn't look hard enough when I checked out a BRZ at the ATL auto show).

Was hoping it would, long cruises would be a bit more comfortable.

I'm also not sure it would look very good on the Hot Lava. I like that Toyota and Scion kept the red on for the US Market. I think it adds a little more personality to the car. And it's another nice touch to the car that completes their vision for us that ties to the heritage of your MR2.

In agreement on the orange, the SE tiburons in 2006 did red leather with a similar body color and personally it looked pretty awful.

Depending on how much the red pops out, in the dark blue offered for the FR-S with tinted windows it may not be too bad given a darker overall interior.

Complaints:
-Seat material looks like it would wear quickly (maybe not though; like Dadhawk said, these remind me of the seats I had in my '87 MR2)
-What's with that trim around the window switches - carbon fiber? Looks really fake
-Can't stand the Tonka Tough HVAC knobs - seriously one of the biggest reasons I'm going with a BRZ limited
-Head unit would get thrown out immediately
-Exactly, where's the red stitching on the e-brake boot? Doesn't make sense
-Never liked Scion door sill protectors. Same on the BRZ... I'm waiting for an aftermarket solution

Things I am happy about:
-Door panels look classy
-So glad they didn't carry over the red leather steering wheel and gear knob trim like on the Toyota 86. Still not happy about the perforated leather wheel, but oh well

Now if someone will make the shifter surround, bottom steering wheel trim and door handle trim out of real metal and not plastic painted gray to look like metal, I will love them forever and always

Yea, not sure what that material was on those seats but it was tough as nails. Mine had over $150K miles on them and looked almost new with regular care.

I've seen them on earlier posts, but I'm not sure how I feel about those "T" logos all over the car, they remind me of fish scales.

I thought the Scion interior was going to be drastically different (worse) than the BRZ premium.

It really isn't.

The seats and guages and silver trim seem like the only real changes. I like the guages and black trim on the Scion and don't mind the red inserts.

The good thing (or bad) is that everything will be interchangeable, so...

Although if I get crazy I'd love to add some alcantara and HIDs...
