Zz. This is so ridiculous. Its been 3 days , and still diagnosing my car. Apparently the Toyota service technician can't figure out wtf is wrong.. -_- they even call him the "master technician"

Not sure why it would be so hard to diagnose the solenoid.

Steps: Press the brake while in park. You should hear the click of the Solenoid. If you do, then there is something wrong with the linkage that moves the lockout.

If no click, then go to the solenoid and disconnect the wire and put a voltage meter and press the brake, you should get voltage if the wiring is intact. If you get voltage, the solenoid is damaged.

You can test solenoid by applying the appropriate voltage (probably 12v)

If no voltage, you have a wiring problem.

Shouldn't be that complicated...

Not sure why it is taking so long. I called them. They just told me they are doing their best to diagnose a problem. The reason it takes so long is because they want to 100% diagnose the problem and it won't happen again. The same BS every Toyota services give you.

I told them about this and they just told me we'll make a note. Because I'm not the technician , I can't do anything about it... BS

Check your clutch fluid. You can refill using DOT4 brake fluid!

Ok. Update..

AFter 3 days of diagnosing... Those monkeys at the toyota service finally said

"Heyyy! Maybe the fuse blown!!"

And that was the problem. smh
