ok i though it was about time for a new thread section so ill start if off here

We need a sub forum for "for sale cars" in preparation for the 86

a good amount of us aren't getting the 1st or 2nd year of the car, so why not 1st year buyers post the cars they are giving up because you know the dealer wont pay the premium for it, some of us are 16 and want the 86 but could use a car now to get by till they can afford it?

this way someone from here can get a car at a better price, and sellers can get the most out of their cherished rides to put down on a new 86?

any thoughts? good idea? bad idea?

Makes sense, but I wonder how many would be ready to buy a car from a forum member - our cars are very likely to have been heavily taxed/abused compared to the typical commuter grannymobile!

In my own case I have a very low-mileage (33K) but older (1998) car that looks almost new, not sure a dealer is going to give me close to what I think it's worth.

I have an 06 tC I'll be getting rid of for the FRS, so I'm good with having a for sale forum like you suggest.

In the marketplace section there sould be sub-sections entitled, "FR-S/BRZ CARS FOR SALE" and "NON-FR-S/BRZ CARS FOR SALE".

Good idea.

So glad I won't have a trade. But if anyone wants to buy a 1973 Datsun 240Z for a nice project, *edit* I might be inclined to sell it! (It'll most likely be faster than the FR-S, LOL)

If you have a car for sale post it up on the Market subforum!!

Don't forget to look at the rules! One day we will get one of our lovely mods to put up Zx6 Cars for Sale and Other Cars For Sale sections.
