I was in the loop for the last couple day. Didn't know there is a meet.

Congrats on the car. I'm trading my BRZ for a new WRX, due in at the end of the week.

Congrats to you too, what color and trim do you get? I regret not opting for the lips, so I may wait for replica since I can't be the early adopter of the lips. LOL

@Dark, Galaxy Blue Pearl, Premium, 6mt. I had ordered a GBS BRZ, but a WRB was available sooner, so now I'm finally getting the color I really wanted. I think I'll get the STI/SPT exhaust too, after the fact. This is going to be my "family" car though, so I don't plan on any other modding.

I am looking at buying a WRB WRX Limited 6MT right now. I really want the Nav/HK package, but I can't find one available right now with that.

You probably want to place an order at your local dealer. Wait time is 6-8weeks.

Nope. No reason to place an order as there aren't really any options other than the Nav/HK package. The other things are really just accessories that can be added at any time. I will find a great deal on one at a dealer and have mine way before all those guys waiting months on an ordered one. I did the same thing with my BRZ. I had an order in for one with no ETA, and so I found the one I wanted and went and got it.

You're not going to get it in a limited WRX, that's for sure. You just paid an extra $3k for an audio system that's worth less than $1k, easy.

Subaru "premium" audio "upgrades" are nothing more than very expensive, very lacking audio systems. Whereas with a Lexus (which is a luxury brand) will of course have a very nice audio when loaded.

Sorry to burst your bubble. You're going to need a custom audio system to get what you're wanting.

Since I have a loaded IS, I do know what I'm talking about. Premium audio in WRX is different than upgrade tweeter and added sub. It's made by HK. While it's not like ML in Lexus (because of sound dampening material used in all panels of the car), it's far from being a mere upgrade. Sure it's not worth 2.5k alone( got it for invoice), but the package also includes nav+keyless. I don't have to spend on installation or waste the space in the trunk for tacky custom audio.

Love the mature look of GBS, but i want a loud color. WRX is still a very good ride in stock form though stock wheels have to go.

True, keyless is definitely worth it. And I know you know what you're talking about with regards to the Lexus. And the WRX audio upgrade still isn't worth a hill of beans. Not in my experience. HK as a brand name just makes me roll my eyes when folks mention it like they said Bose.
