What the hell is a "Turn Spin Knob"?

These sort of mass "product" releases always evoke an eye roll from me. There isn't a shred of data anywhere, let alone a description of what they hope the product may do.

Damper curves? Spring rates? Torsional rigidity deltas from braces? Lap time deltas? Measured NVH deltas? Any data of any sort? Nada on all counts. If the internet experts want to slap a "FAIL" on anything, so far, this is it.

Just Say No to unqualified aftermarket products.

I wondered that too. It looks like a slider for a motorcycle, but I thought, well that can't be right!

A little research......

......It's a drifting do-hickey for your emergency brake

See Sig below for why I had to look this up....

Maybe for lighter weight than stock ones? But isn't that against the safety code in US?

Probably, but it isn't as if they take off the bumper in your annual inspection.

Other than spring rates(occasional) and damping curves(even more occasional), does ANYBODY give those things?

But yeah, more data is always better. Lack of data is why I'm so reticent to spend money on car mods.

This is why the automotive aftermarket gets such little respect from those of us that work for OEM automakers; they cater to fools with more money than brains.

Thankfully, there are a couple tuners that at least try to do the best they can. Only rarely do you get legitimately proper tuners with full-on R&D. Otherwise, it's definitely buyer beware.

I love Ryephile ripping cusco up and down like he even understands the aftermarket community to begin with...

you don't seem to understand car modification at it's base level which funds the higher levels, Cusco has had these cars for MONTHS both LHD and RHD models,
alot of their parts are more show than go (i will not defend their roll cages)
but you also (obviously) have no first hand experience with any of the product, current or previous.

you jump up and down about how shit their shit is, and you don't know what it does? you say it's undeveloped, without knowing anything about the product, at all...while touting OEM blah blah blah, Cusco goes racing...not armchair status either, their employees go racing, they spend money in sponsorships so others can go racing, they build and help to support this scene, and you try to tear them apart because you are offended by what??? the color, the fact that they sell a few products for useless appeal (remember most tuner cars are just rice, these are the best sellers)

are their shocks the end all be all...no, but they are developed, and available now,

are their arms better than the best? Maybe not but i guarantee they are stronger, most likely lighter, and def more adjustable than stock, and that's kinda what they are for,

I get it haters gonna hate and all but really? would you feel better if you knew most china knockoffs are copies of the hard work companies like cusco do in R&D, is that some justice there for you???
