Got mine installed on Friday and have since put on about 700 miles at first i had a kind of odd smell coming from the exhaust but after about 300 non stop freeway miles it was gone. Also if i can get access to a laser temp gauge ill take some temps as my header is not coated but i have to find a gauge first and dont really want to buy one at the moment lol.

What's the consensus on the affect it's had on the overall sound levels in the car? Imagine yourself as someone's who's way less tolerant of noisy exhausts (even slightly loud ones) and drone under load on the highway...

How would you describe it? My car's exhaust is very deep, not loud - but it's the deepness that makes it vibrate through the car making it easier to hear it inside than out, haha.

I can supply stock temps. I say we all do something similar, like 30 mins of city driving or canyon driving, then take temps immediately after. Also, maybe post a pic of locations where you took the temp so that others can measure at the same location? Sure, it won't be completely comparable since its not the same environment (roads, weather, etc) but it should be ballpark.

I dont think the header did much for volume. maybe a very small amount. Mostly changed the tone and of course added the little bit of rumble. I think most of my volume came from the Nameless combo pipe. its a decent size difference from stock to 2.5" so volume goes up with the size change.

I just drove from Stockton to LA then back over the weekend and on the way back my fiance had no problem falling asleep while i was going 80-85mph. My set up passes the "Girl Friend Test" no problem so I imagine with your Perrin CBE it will be even quieter.

I will hopefully get a vid of my exhaust tonight or tomorrow though i dont have a fancy mic so it will just have to be with the gopro

Received and installed my header. I'm very pleased with the quality, fit and sound. The only other exhaust modification I have is a Nameless axle back. It's not much louder, but deeper and more rumbly. I'm running a very broad Unichip map for my setup, so I don't feel any massive power gains, but the delivery is more linear and smooth. I ran 167whp without it, I'll get it dyno'd again and report back.

GoPro coming soon.

Received mine today but ran into a problem during install. I am one of the unlucky few that has the second o2 sensor stuck/strip on the oem header. When the o2 sensor finally came out, the thread was all jacked up. I was really looking forward to getting the install done but now have to order a new sensor. Anyone knows how much it would cost to buy one from the dealer?
