I didn't notice any substantial change in fuel economy when I added the underbody panels; certainly not enough to justify the $400 cost of the panels. As I said though, it did reduce road noise a very perceptible amount which for some might be justification enough (I don't regret it; I like peaceful freeway cruising).

I think there was a Toyota chart at one time that showed the Cd dropping from 0.29 to 0.28 with the panels and to 0.27 with the spoiler. Might have been from early specs about the various JDM models.

It makes the car quieter on the freeway. That is why I got it, and I suspect for all but the most decked out and finished track car, you would only get that underbody aero for the n in NVH. That said, if you are going for reduced noise you will get much much much more bang for your buck by sectioning a sheet of dynamat and throwing that around your car's interior (especially the rear wheel arches).

That's all it does, for all practical purposes.

I just want to cover the hole left by the muffler delete I'm about to do.

I like the look of the Borla since it seems to tuck under the car nicely, but has anyone made it work with anything other than the Borla catback? Specifically a Berk dual tip?

Did Berk ever come to market with a diffuser for their deletes? I can't find one on their site.

I like the idea of the type 2 Driveway Labs, but still want an even more stock appearance.

I'm not trying to create downforce as much as prevent even more lift after deleting the stock muffler.

I was about to post some pictures of the underbody panels but instead just wrote a (very quick) review. If you care what the bottom of the car looks like I put a few pictures up in this thread: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63385

I'm still wondering who at Toyota/Subaru said,
"No take off those really nice flat underbody panels before you send it to America and fit smaller half-assed ones on instead. Because fuck them that's why"

Same person that said take the trunk and hood insulation off and replace the dual HVAC with a cheap ass ugly Scion unit.

Not sure where you're getting stability idea from.
How fast are we talking about?
