245/40/17 fit fine ona 7in wide wheel, ssomeone try 255/40/17... @G_Ride

Edit: There is bow in the tread, so maybe 255 isnt going to work well. I'll get pictures later.

I can't wait for pictures

I've seen 255 on a 8" wide wheel. It probably isn't going to work well on a 7" wide wheel.

I used to run 255/40/17 on 8" wheels on my STX MKV GTI. that wasn't even that great. Lol.

I thought I got one with them on the ground, but I guess not.

They have 41psi in them right now. I am going to go take them for a drive. They are noticeably (when carrying) heavier than the stock wheels/tires.

@cactus that's what I'd expect of a 245 on a 7" wide wheel. I can't wait to see how well they work for you tomorrow!

Anyone offering a co-drive in the afternoon. My ride had to cancel. I can offer access to a go pro and help with your entry fee.

I'm starting to see a lot of fast CS BRS/FRS drivers at the National Tours and Pro Solos trying 245/40/17. So far it seems like the way to go.

I did one autoX on the stock tires then went home and ordered some tires. This was almost two years ago at this point now. Lol. Been through 4 sets of RS3s and one my 2nd set of ZIIs now. I've got a set of the V2 RS3s on order!!!

My co-driver and I are leaning towards trying out 245 V2 RS3s. Hopefully Hankook can get enough sizes available before the end of the month to be legal.

Are they running these on the stock Scion wheels? Do they use wheel spacers?
