@SHIFTER - any chance you've tried hooking up a USB tv tuner to the head unit to see if that works?

Does it use Google Maps, and can it read data from a USB drive like any other HU?

i've completely different result than you no matter how i try, i couldn't get the door speaker bass working, it almost sounds exactly like when dealer set the wrong car type on the stock HU, when i increase the bass, i can totally here it come from the back speaker (which is totally distort) and absolutely nothing from the door panel. i tried different EQ setting and play with the balance and fade setting. someone please help.... btw, my iPod connection also not working, i tried iPod classic, iPod nano and iPhone, software crash during connection and go back to home page....

I don't know what the harness on the Dashlinq looks like since I don't have one yet, but did you wire tap the stock amp's power on cable into the right wire on the unit's wire harness?

Shit I forgot ALL about that - yes you need to wire up the stock amp otherwise your door speakers won't work.

Sorry about forgetting that - I installed it in such a rush I forgot I had done that.

See my post before this about the door speakers - its totally because you need the stock amp to be given power. There is a lone wire on the accessory harness that is labeled AMP. Wire that to pin #9 on the 10 pin factory harness that looks like this:

4 3 2 1
10 9 8 7 6 5

More info about the amp here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=610948

About the ipod - make sure the harness plugging into the stereo for the ipod is pushed in tight. I had the same issue - it just wasn't 100% securely installed. WORST case - if it still doesnt work, take a video of it and email them - they will give you updated firmware or an updated app to correct it. If thats the case - email Will at will@innotrends.com and he will help you. Their support is fast and very good, so they will for sure help you

Otherwise PM me if you have any more troubles!

So, I'm trying to sell my BRZ HU to get this, I know there's a GPS antenna behind my current HU, will I need that for this new HU or does this one come with it's own GPS antenna? I figure I need to include the GPS antenna with the sale of my HU.

How many RCA preouts are there? Does it have a remote wire? I heard the stock amp doesn't use a remote wire.

Any pictures of the backside?

The specs are so minimized on their site. I'm sure they'd sell more if they were a little more thorough.

I'll probably snag one and give it a try once my head unit arrives.

Can you post a photo of your harness so we can see what you did for wiring in the amp power?
