My car isn't broken in yet, 295 miles, but I used the 'secret traction control off' mode on three of my test drives with three different cars. I drove all the cars as normal and nothing bad happened.

As for shifting, try it without shifting out of second on one run, then up shift on the next run if you have to. I've only done two auto-x events, but in six years of rally-x I've found it better to shift up than not. And sometimes its faster to not go back down to first after you've gotten into second, even if it feels slower.

With how amazing it feels to drive this car I'll definately be auto-xing it once I reach 1000 miles.

I'll follow up on my thread. I just finished my first autox in the BRZ after 6 years of autocrossing in a Hyundai Accent and turbo Miata.

I broke the 1000 mile break-in period yesterday. Today was the first time I really pushed the car. It is an absolute blast to drive even with the stock Prius "drifting" tires.

I turned off TC and VSC by pushing the traction button for several seconds. I did not try the pedal dance.

The first upgrade will definitely be tires. I could not stop sliding around every corner.

Anyway, I have Torque installed on my phone and it polls a ton of information, so it may be a little low on speed and RPM since those change quickly. But according to Torque my max RPM was around
5700 and my max speed was 46 MPH. So I never needed to shift to 3rd.

Here are a couple videos. Sorry for the wind noise. My external mic died over the winter and I have not gotten a new one yet.
