![]() I guess I don't really "hate" the mustache, I just prefer the front end of the FRS. It's not really that big of a deal, just a preference. I'm all about bang for the buck... cosmetics never outweigh the dollar. |

So questions I have for you guys!
1.) The Monogram options came on the Australian Toyota 86 as a 5k extra cost. I was happy to pay because I needed the alacantra seats and the HID headlamps. Those alone justified the cost. 2.) I've found that the side is quite prone to chipping. I have a slight chip on my drivers door. Hard to see but I know it's there. I usually avoid trucks on the freeway to protect my car. 3.) There isn't a turbo on the 2015. The only difference is the shocks and there is a stock sharkfin antenna. 4.) My first mod was a sharkfin as I hated the RC car look of the stock antenna. Now I've done springs, wheels, intake and a front strut brace. Next up is exhaust. I'm not planning to go forced induction so mostly concentrating on look and sound. I plan to do a catted header, catted front pipe and cat back. Not chasing huge numbers I just want to flatten the torque dip a little. 5.) The red stitching is compulsory on the australian model. I dig it cos my car is red. 5.) I'm pretty satisfied so far. If I could have done one thing differently I'd have bought 245 tyres instead of 235. The 235 don't look stretched on the 9" wheel, but I'd love to have the added protection of 245 so I don't have to worry about scrapping and gutter rashing as much. Not that i've done that. But it's a big fear. After these kumho's are gone I'll probably spring for some Hankook Ventus in 245. |

Biggest regret is in 2008 (during the crash) I could have bought an S2k with 10k miles for $15k or a similar Elise for $20k. But hind site is 20/20. This car is probably a better daily than both of those.
