The red brake calipers are interesting, we haven't seen that on any OEM BRZs yet.

Considering everything else on the car is a visual upgrade with no performance gain, I'd guess they're the standard calipers.

Subaru ought to be ashamed of themselves for pushing out this Special Edition ricer crap. Not ONE performance upgrade, all the lip spoiler is going to do is grind on every garage ramp you encounter. And I'll bet all this cosmetic fluff is going to add at least $1750 to the price too. Ridiculous. Once again JDM gets all the good stuff (tS package).

Yeah, me too... I think it would look awesome w/ just blue stitching, but might be over the top w/ blue fabric all over the place.

In the end, those looking at getting a Subaru are getting a better Special Edition (imo) than the 10 Series/Monogram (should of been Trim options to begin with). The FRS RS 1.0 TRD will be on-par with the tS and I think that is why Scion decided to release it the same year as the Monogram this Fall, because they didn't want all JDM enthusiasts jumping ship to Subaru when the SE STI one is released. |

Oh no !!! It might look like the BRZ XT Concept "Rear" Caliper
![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.autoblog.com/2012/09/27/s...pt-paris-2012/ But if it has the "front" XT 4 pots ones, better than nothing. Except I prefer black.![]() ![]() ![]()

Those 4-pots in terms of parts are surprisingly cheap. It wouldn't cost Subaru much to include them, and they could mark up the price another ~$500 or whatever and make money on it and it would be worth it for us customers for sure.

they wont change performance until the new model series (if production continues) In 2017 2018 model year (models usually change every 5 years) and i don't see them putting a turbo charger, at most they'll change the headers and exhaust make it a 2.5L Boxer 4 ( the one thats going to be on the 2016 STI) and then tune that 2.5L to like 245hp 205ft lbs tq also the USDM models will probably weigh 2800-2900 lbs by then
