Scion FRS RS 1.0

1) Long Beach Grand Prix?
2) Compared to the picture on scion.com, that has US TRD wheels, different fender garnish, different front lip (has the license plate holder of the normal TRD lip), TRD brakes, and body color mirrors. Is that just a random modded car or is it supposed to be the RS1.0?

It is just the tires that make those 18"s look small lol?

I see they added the TRD rear side spoilers. And I don't think that's the Toyota sharkfin (upcoming 2015 model), that looks like Beatsonic and a Beatsonic roof spoiler.

1) Yes, LBGP
2) The TRD fender fin is on the car, as well as the big brake kit. Highly doubt it's "randomly modded" considering it's sitting in the Toyota showfloor area with the rest of the Toyotas.

I took pics mostly because there are some optional JDM TRD pieces that seem to be making its way to the RS. I feel this (along with the other cars across the country) are a way to test the market and get consumer feedback.

I guess "randomly modded" wasn't the right word. Maybe this car served as inspiration for what would become the RS1.0 is more what I meant. Really similar, but not everything made the final build for the production version.

This is RS 1.0/RS 10,000,000,000.00. I would wait for a few a more years. There will be plenty of RS to come. Remember the tC...If they offered it in White, Raven, Hot Lava, etc. I would be more interested. Still good to see they are producing specialty options.

I still like my plain Jane FRS to make it my personal RS. I see no logic behind selling/trading in my FRS for something like this. I enjoy the little add on accessories when I get the money and time to perform. It slowly is turning into what I want it to be. Not something Toyota has made thinking that is what I want it to be.

hm, are those trd fender fins poly or abs? i thought the JDM TRD ones were CF?

interesting... if they sell those cheaper here as TRD US in poly or abs I'd probably pick those up

I spy the TRD diffuser, and also no blacked out side view mirrors

I also spy a full ROLL CAGE and a racing seat... Obviously this isn't representative of the production car minus the color.
