Thanks. In person, I've seen an SSM BRZ with a VG sharkfin which has more of a slope and smoother lines. Thought it matched the the BRZ lines well which started my interest in into getting a fin lol.

Personally, I think a spoiler helps the shark fin blend in better. Still looks really good in your pic though
Agreed. It compliments the Limited spoiler. Since I'm wingless, it kinda sticks out a bit for me when I was doing my walk around. Maybe I'll add a lip spoiler to go with it. This pic was my favorite angle.

Cool. Any issues so far? They definitely make the car less "toy-like'. Watch Beatsonic release version 3 if I decide to install this..LOL

The stock antenna was way too long. I don't mind the shorty antennas but they're starting to look dated since most new cars come with some of color matched antenna. Looks cleaner imo.

Nice. Been thinking if I should go with Motul 300 in both trans and diff, but hear good things about Pentosin. Other than the fluids, is your shifter/trans stock? Also, what engine oil did you go with?

Did the transmission with the Pentosin like butter now, need to order the Motul for the diff, unless I want to use redline?

It was one of the $85 STI replica lips on ebay. Seller was xpert-tuning. The bare plastic finish of it was pretty crappy so I plastidipped it and it looked a lot better - to the point where it matched the other plastic trim parts on the car pretty well. The fitment was pretty good aside from the ends where it wraps around the wheel wells/bumper. But, after looking through this thread it looks like I need to put a 3/4" and 1/2" nylon spacer in for the screws of the last two holes for it to be aligned correctly. Right now I'm not happy with how the sides fit but after I adjust it with the spacers I think it should fit pretty good. Definitely happy with only spending $85 compared to what the real STI lip costs.

Added some SE Michigan flair to the area I lovingly call the "I didn't get the Limited area".

Fired her up for the first time in a week, since I was out of town on business. Gotta love the E85 life. 4 attempts to crank before she finally turned over.

I started experimenting with the STi kit from BaysonR.

I 400grit wet sanded one of the rear spats and painted it glossy black. It looked so good compared to 'stock' I sanded and painted the other without taking a before picture. I think I am going to put 2 coats of black and 2 coats of clear.

Since this thread is useless without photo's, I will do a before and after for the sideskirts, front lip, and rear diffuser for you guys tomorrow. Hopefully next weekend I can get them mounted on the car.

Still need to put my summers on.

I was the same. So did some searching and found Duragloss to be a good car shampoo to use.

And I'd recommend Meguiar's scratch X for swirls, etc.

Did you use scratch x on the whole car? By hand?

Done over the last few days but a quick wash, dipped the stockers, bought black lugs and swapped the summer wheels back on.

Not on the whole car yet, but on the fenders, and trunk lid as there were scratches after the dealer supposedly detailed it for me. Works well, combined with a quick wax after.

Hey guys, long time no see. Sorry but I have to stay away in order to maintain financial stability.

I had a bad morning...

Woke up to the sound of these assholes pelting my car.

Found my pants and got the car inside before the second wave hit but it was too late.

It actually split the end of the spoiler

Good excuse to get a new lip spoiler, though. And that's why I'm here.
