X2

Waiting to get my tune right now because with my header I'm throwing a CEL which means no pass emissions. But passed with flying colors first time I had it inspected.

I will have to get mine inspected soon. How strict are they regarding things like a Berk axle back muffler delete, ride height pretty low on coilovers & 20% tint all the way around?

Depends on where you go. If you're not throwing a CEL I wouldn't worry about the muffler delete. Ride height is no worry. Tint might be a problem though. Legal here is 35% on the front and doors. No restrictions elsewhere.

I always go to the inspection stations off of local car washes. All they do is check for a CEL, then preform the gas cap test. After that, they give you a sticker. Never had any issues over the years.

Usually after resetting the ecu, flashing, or clearing codes, the ecu has to relearn certain things. This is why some show better improvements from a tune after a couple days driving. Only problem is this relearning process usually takes 75-100 miles. This will also show on a diagnostic/inspection machine as "not ready" and the machine won't test. After the 75-100 miles the cel might come back...

I got one of the spacers with my header, had one cel on tuesday after having the header for 4 weeks...intermittent lean 2nd bank...Cleared it, checked o2 and say it was loose...tightened everything back up during drive shaft install and cel not back...yet

Anybody in Dallas have a heat gun? Need to roll that little piece of fender up front by the side marker. Haven't done this before but I don't think it would be too hard. Fender rolling experience much needed/appreciated. Really wanted to do it before autocross this weekend. :/
