Had KW V3's installed. Lowered approx 1". Left the factory bump/rebound settings for now. Surprisingly comfortable for a lowered car until you get to the big bumps.

Also, test fitted a Beat-sonic Sharkfin v2. Not sure if I'm ready to commit. lol
Yah or Nah??

I think it looks good with the shark fin. Considering getting one myself.

When I first installed it on my Limited, I thought it looked weird too but it's grown on me and now I love it. I think it helps that I have the factory spoiler because the fins on that match the shark fin quite well.

Personally, I think a spoiler helps the shark fin blend in better. Still looks really good in your pic though

Do it! I debated the same thing with the first version from beatsonic. I've had it on the car for 8 months now and I love the way it looks. Kinda sad they have a second version now since I like this one more!

Anyone notice sometimes that the shifter sticks while the car is on neutral and not moving?

Here is a vid I took.
Watch "Neutral sticking problem ?" on YouTube
Neutral sticking problem ?:

Is this something I should worry about ?

Weather was finally warm, and I tried to jam on the highway today with windows down and it was just abysmal. I like loud bumpin music and the BRZ hates loud music. I had the EQ at minimum below 400hz and the woofers were still upset.

Came home and ordered some component speakers and a 125x2 rms amp today to get things started.. probably going with the CAFI HU soon since it's pretty sick.. and I'll need some RCA outs anyway.

Ended up buying Phoenix Gold 6.5 RSD's.. I've had a lot of experience with them in the past and loved powering the hell out of them.

Shopping for the best budget integrated 10" sub box now. I've had a 10" type r and an alpine 500W amp laying around, should do the job. Didn't expect to blow a grand after the first month of owning the car, but I love my music.

I realized that the Perrin 2.5" was bothering me because I thought it was loud. However, when I poke my head out and rev, the sound is totally different since it's not vibrating through the whole car. It's a nice deep sound but the low tones can get on my nerves on the highway, especially on a very low gradual incline.
It's not really a resonator, more like a capped welded along the length of the exhaust. Very similar to S2000's and G35's. I'll have to take a photo of what I have. I was skeptical at first, but it did take a lot of that droning away to a bearable level. I believe 28" is optimal for drone canceling. Will experiment more!

(I just hope it's not a placebo lol -___-")

Engine oil, transmission, and rear differential fluid change. It was actually last night. I used Pentosin 75w80 in the trans and Motul Gear 300 in the diff. Shifting is now super silky smooth.
