-now if poke is minimal front and rear and no rubbing or fender mods required, i was contemplating the same setup but with staggered offset +35 front and +20 rear, my thinking is that this will give a staggered appearence w/o actually being staggered, also idk if the concavity will be affected by the change in offset on the rear wheel as well, your help is appreciated thank you

this is where pics and feedback come in please help thanks in advance
Offset will NOT affect concave appearance of wheels. 8.75 +33 or +20 will have the same concave look. Only difference is with +20 the entire wheel will be pushed out.

If you want square setup then 18x8.75 +33 all around looks good, as long as you don't mind a few millimeters of poke in the front. I don't like poke, so I went with 18x7.5 +38 front and it looks perfectly flush to me. I'm also using the same 4 tires on all wheels. It doesn't look bad at all. If you want a staggered look then that is what I recommend.

Just want to make sure you know the newer Chromium Black is more silver than black. There's a thread a few below this one showing the differences. Maybe that's a deal breaker for you.

@ericmpena I saw that but thought it was just a one off. Every chromium black is now that lighter color? Ugh. Some of the matte bronze pics I see look lighter than others--i prefer the dark looking bronze. I hope its a lighting thing and not a consistency issue.

Not the most HQ photos in the world. The weather in MN hasn't been the greatest and I should still be on my winter setup but damn it i was so anxious to put it all together and now that I have the Brembos on there is no going back to stock wheels until I order spacers. In the pics the Gold on Silver looks kinda of tacky but IRL Though! Damn I love it...

The Setup: XXR 527 18x8.75 +35 with 235/40/18 rubber.
Hubcentric rings (73.1 OD 56.1 ID)
Black Works Racing Neo chrome 12x1.25 lugs
Custom "STi" Center caps using EBAY sti decals and the XXR supplied caps

I bought the CHEAPEST tires I could find because I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the wheels. And figured I'd have more fun sliding around if I wasn't worried about my super spendy tires... They are "Goodride" SV308.... and TO BE HONEST lol they're not bad. I would have never bought them if i was going to be doing any serious driving (autox, road course, etc.)

At first I thought it was to high and wanted more low but daily driving I really appreciate the extra clearance.

The Brembo setup was REALLY easy and I got EVERYTHING for under $1300....
All 4 calipers (used), NEW centric rotors, the rear adapter from KNS (NEW), NEW stop tech pads, and fresh fluid.

All and all I'm really happy with how everything turned out.
Did it on a "budget" and i'm surprisingly happy with how it all looks, feels, and the effects it had on my wallet weren't bad. Obviously haters are gonna hate on "knock off wheels" "cheap tires" "looks like a monster truck" "should never put brakes on a car that weren't designed for it" (jdm BRZ has same brakes soo...) but it's what ever.

Yes, from what I understand XXR switched manufacturers not too long ago, and the new manufacturer was unable to replicate the darker "Chromium Black" finish. So, now all of the new Chromium Black wheels are a lighter color.

Did anyone buy these as a wheel\tire package (with decent rubber)? If so, where? I found a few sites that will do packages but only with crappy tires. I'm hoping to get somewhat decent tires (Bridgestone Potenza SO4s, Pilot SS). I prefer the package so they arrive ready to go instead of having to lug the wheels and tires to a shop to have mounted\balanced etc.

Thanks! I just did it last September. They're 12"x12" vinyl tiles I spent a lot of time prepping the concrete cleaning ext so far its holding up well. A couple coats of sealer on top and couple more of finish/wax. Wanted a checker garage floor since I was a kid and with the urging of my wife I decided to go through with it. Glad I did if you ever need any tips let me know
