Anyone notice under the shifter the buttons are different shapes... interior update for 2015? Most likely this will be a 2014 kinda like the 2013 10 series with the 2014 updated head unit.

Probably just designed and made for the TRD FRS... just like those glowing emblems for the 10 Series.

Depends on what TRD edition means, honestly do $10k worth of TRD parts exist that would enhance daily driving? I doubt it.

There's not much domestically currently is there Intake, exhaust, springs, sway bars, wheels, brake pads, quick shifter and filters. I'm sure I missed something, but that's not 10k worth of stuff. Maybe after the dealer houses you for labor, but even then that's a stretch.

Local dealer only charged me $55 to install my quickshifter.

Pretty sure the RS photo is photoshopped.

I don't know - some older non-supercars can pull off the yellow pretty well...

Well the TRD edition isn't really aimed at being a spruced daily driver, more like a track ready special:

http://www.tune86.com/toyota-86-trd-...-parts-catalog

Plus there were other parts mentioned in some of its reviews like a mechanical diff as well. It's somewhat approaching the griffon, minus the major aero, weight reduction and engine work.

EDIT: actually the griffon comparison is a stretch as there is also stuff like a titanium exhaust system and other things but yeah, you get my drift lol.

Yeah this is how I feel, I was annoyed that Japan got all the stuff and Scion is ****ing us over by holding off and slowly releasing it in new trim.

Does the size of the car really matter? Dual zone climate control isn't mean to comfort rear passengers. It's just so two people can have different temperatures. Anyone who has a wife, fiancé, girlfriend or at least goes out on dates can appreciate the potentially reduced amount of complaints.
