I know! I got out of the pure tech database jobs because I saw all the jobs going to india or china and salaries stagnating or even dropping. But now its hard to get visas for people and outsourcing is never as good as executives think it is... so I think it turned around. Maybe I should go back into that field of work...

Grace is pretty perfect that way so I am pushing my luck by getting a 2nd dog...

But back to cars... I am at 2200 miles, but I bought my BRZ in November. Should I have it in for the first oil change? I understand that synthetic doesn't really break down over time like dino juice so the length of time is not as important anymore as the miles.. is that correct?

My wife is gone the week of the 20-26th.... Anyone up for a meet on say Wednesday evening the 23rd especially for those of us that wanted to compare audio systems? (several people wanted to hear my OEMAudio+). There is a County Line at approx. 360 and 2222 (those coming from Austin should take 2222 as its fun to drive with our cars). We could have appetizers and beer right after work at like 6 for those that want to hang out and then some fun looking at mods / listening to audio after that at 7 or so for those that aren't interested in happy hour (or live further out and don't want to brave traffic)... Nothing definite yet just throwing out ideas...

Ours is a 5 year old we rescued from a puppy mill, so she is almost like a puppy when it comes to behavior. Slowly breaking all the bad habits. She was used as a breeder for french bulldogs.

We adopted a puppy mill pocket pitbull. My fiance is in love with it and she's a really good dog. Breaking her of the protective over food habits and small things is a little rough, but overall a great adoption.

Yea she is happy camper, just right now she is recovering from health stuff and she is developing separation anxiety at night now. She is literally 5ft from me, and can see us through a baby gate, but holy crap it isn't enough. Barking and crying the last couple of nights, hence lack of sleep.

Yeah I go on runs in that area a lot. Me and my biker friend take west lake, to 360, then up 2222 since he lives up by burnet and koenig. Maybe he will tag along, idk. I would be down to meet up, maybe we could plan a run and end at county line? Its about 30 minutes if you start in the city and head out on 6th. I want to hear your OEM Audio as I will be buying mine very soon.

Edit: When did you install the system, btw? I am looking at the 400CF and I cannot remember if you had it when we did the cars and coffee a few months back.

Good news, I found a screw extractor kit for the lug nut, and wheel studs can be done by hand with no impact wrench needed. Probably cost me about $15-$20 to do this repair by myself. I don't feel so bad anymore, I'm just upset that air tools fucked up my wheel stud which is why I hate them being used for tightening when they should only really be used for loosening or just SLIGHTLY threading a nut on then hand torquing the rest of the way.
i've got an irwin bolt extractor kit that does an amazing job

I bought the 400CF on the black Friday sale and installed sometime around Christmas. I've had it at every meet I've been at including the cars and coffee but nobody asked for a listen.

you have the OFT though right? So you could plug in a tune to get the extra hp out of it.

Won't work. The bolt is flat and sheared inside the lug. I already tried to drill and extract. No good. At this point I need a new Ray's lug nut. I got the wheel stud at O'reilys which is an easy fix, but getting 1 lug is impossible.

Ew, you can probably buy a set of four though. I would consider pursuing reimbursement for services poorly rendered and damaged parts including replacement lugs.
