Get the monogram.
You're looking at about $3K price premium over the base model. The extra options are certainly worth it. Basically 2 mods are necessary: Exhuast tips, and clear side markers. |

Are the additions of the monogram actually worth it? I have been arguing back and forth with myself for a while now. After test driving both...I do like the seats and keyless system.
But, if I can honestly assume that within a year or two of owning the car, I would want to install aftermarket headlights (I wouldn't with the monogram), probably head unit, etc. I guess my actual question boils down to, is the Bespoke system on the monogram nice? I have a tendency to not enjoy anything but Google Maps Nav. And I haven't experienced an intuitive touchscreen audio/climate control system yet... And how about the seats, they did feel more premium, but leather isn't always best where I am in California for a lot of months of the year. |

The headlights, push-start (keyless entry and alarm system), and leather inserts were enough for me.
The head unit is the same for monograms and 2014 base models. Nav comes with the monogram, but it is crap. But really, if the headlights don't interest you, then it might not be worth it to you. For most, if not all, of us that bought the monogram, it's the headlights that really sold us. |

#4 assuming you are buying new the only must needed mods are an oil pressure gauge and a spare set of wheels with snow tires, that's it.

I really hate the mustaches.Because of scion's pure price BS, you can get a BRZ limited for about the price of a FRS base. Can't see spending $3K for a monogram just for the better looking from bumper. |

^ Bumper and Headlights. But I agree Scion Pure Pricing sucks. But I figured I'll have this car 10+ years so I'll pay the extra $ for something I really wanted.
Heck I know i lost money just by trading in my base for the monogram. But this was the spec that I wanted. Which they should've offer at lauch.

xZAMx, I got the 10 Series, but here are my thoughts:
1.) Is the monogram series worth it in your eyes? - Headlights and push button, yes, but I got rid of a car w/leather seats and I'm in the Rockies 2.) I really want to get a clear bra for the front end of the car, what sections are more prone to chipping than others? Having owned a '07 WRX I know Subaru's paint, and will be clear bra-ing mine tomorrow. 3.) Should I wait for the 2015 version to come out? Not if you can find what you want at a dealer that wants to get rid of it. I've seen 3-4K off MSRP around me. 4.) What are some inexpensive MUST needed mods people recommend before anything major? Driver mod. The rest is presonal preference. 5.) I’m not a huge fan of the red stitching, and red accents with the seats. Is there any thing I can do about the stitching? Anyone have Clazzios? What are Clazzios? Google search says seat covers. I say no thanks to any seat cover. 6.) If there is anything else you could do differently, or if you’re satisfied with what you’ve done thus far, please share... OMG this car is meant for drivers! Should have gotten this to replace my MS3 rather than the Golf R that was replaced by the FR-S. I went German because the sales person was very bad in early May 2013 and I wasn't sure I was ready for RWD...

Refreshing to see someone else on this forum who plans on a long term endevour with this car rather than trade-in after a few years

Why would I spend 25k on a car if I don't like the way it looks?
