Hate the new FRS "epic" commercial, just sums up what's wrong with Scion and Scion marketing in one 30 second ad. It's frankly a bit embarrassing, they really have no idea what they're doing.

A 20 something (Gen Y?) showed me a picture of his Fiat the other day said he loves it but its at the dealer for a new engine something about a massive recall for bad piston rings, he didn't care loves the car 'cause of the adds  .

What is up with that ad? Doesn't Scion know the tC was voted in the top 10 biggest poser cars?
The FR-S on the other hand is an outstanding sports car? They used the wrong car in the ad.

i don't have cable, so i don't get to see commercials
are the frs adds common?......are they even airing them on tv? around here people still don't seem to be familiar with the scion, let alone with the frs |

I've been seeing them once or twice a night on mainstream networks during prime time. Odd b/c there hasn't been another commercial (that I know of) since the original launch commercial.

I think their going for the younger crowd. I found this one online....

But I laughed at the commercial, and I do kinda have that feeling whenever I pull into a parking lot. But still, that's something that needs to be experienced, not advertised lol.
