Recommendations for amber hid fog lights??

Was looking to get some from diode dynamics but didn't want to pay 240$ to get a additional charge for ambers (3kk.) I dont really want to use a yellow tint over it. So do you guys have some recommendations on where to get a fog light kit with some amber bulbs? I heard spyder has some terrible fitment and winjet doesn't come with a switch?? I did a little research and i don't want to end up going for ebay lights, and i rather have HIDs instead of LEDs.

It's just swapping a bulb. The 270 just seems to be out of stock.

I'd recommend retrofitting projector fogs from a Fusion or Maxima, but it'll have to be custom. From there, HID ballasts and 3000k bulbs can be found in a lot of places. I found some generic sealed projectors from The Retrofit Source a few years ago and modified them for HID and mounted them in the stock fog locations. I'm just using 4300k bulbs since my car doesn't get driven in inclement weather.

I think anything you find will have to be custom.

Whenever something goes out of stock at Newegg.com, it shows up as "discontinued"

Some sites are just set up that way to automatically show an OOS item to be "discontinued"

Kids don't care about the functionality these days, they just want to look cool. Just look at all the non-retrofit HID conversions, the 6000k+ bulbs, the films over lights, etc.

That is very true.

I saw a Tahoe yesterday with 8000K+ headlights and then terrible mismatched fogs (probably like 12000k or more, VERY purple) But hey, he was rolling on D's I guess....

MY EYES, THEY BURN!!! I havent drove in front of one truck + hids that hasnt pissed me off.
