First off, the preferred way to jack your car is at the front & rear jack points as covered previously by GrimmSpeed (thanks guys), linked here

However, this doesn't work very well for tire rotation (unless you put one end on jack stands) and there's a faster way.

Pictures tell the story best. That's a $2 hockey puck, about 1/3 cut away with a sawsall and metal cutting blade (put the puck in a vise, please).

I locate the flat (i.e. sawn off) edge of the puck on the inside of the pinch weld at the factory designated front jacking point and crank away. No funny noises, no distress, no bent pinch welds, no chipped paint. Happy jacking...

This is how I always jack this car up. Seems fine as long as the jack has the right cup for the pinch weld.

I'll be installing coil overs one side at a time this way. I also put a second jack under the rear pinch weld for additional support.

Easier if you do one end of the car at a time... the above method is okay for wheel changes, but for suspension swaps you would end up fighting the sway bars as it's loaded on one side.

Use some jack stands, please. The last thing you want is to wiggle your car while it's on jacks and have the jacks move/topple over along with the car. Then you'll have a whole new set of problems....

I jacked the side of the car several times with regular jack, but the steel seems to hold just fine.

Just do the fronts and rears separately (on a pair of jack stands). Jack using the diffy in the back and front jack point for the front as detailed in the GS thread I linked to.

Four jack stands is a problem anyway unless you have a perfectly level floor to set up on.
