On a more serious note, my Nameless axleback also has the 4" rolled tips with a crack about 1/3" in length for months, it hasn't worsened.

I had the same issue last year. I called nameless and they were willing to fix it under warranty (mine was less than a year old). I did pay for shipping to ship it back.
