ESO was a disappointment to me anyway. It was too generic, nothing really groundbreaking. I don't think it did the ES series legacy any justice.

If you are a traditional MMO player though, I think you would enjoy it. I just never have gotten into that genre and its mechanics.
Yup. I couldnt get into it either in the short time with beta. I decided to pre order Wildstar, i just like the mechanics and feel better. Even though this also has a sub fee, Im loving it so far even though my beta crashes every 5 mins...

I've got a feeling that I'm gonna try ESO, not like it, and have wasted all that money. Then, after about 8-10 months, they'll have changed some mechanics in the game, and it'll be awesome, and I'll like it then.

I know what you mean.
Happened to me with Final Fantasy.

Anyone play Warframe? I've been playing it a lot recently. My Steam name is the same as here.

I do, not much lately with Titanfall AND an 8-month old baby girl. Add me if you're on before I am, same name in WF (wheelhaus).

Most of my gaming/car work is done during my daughter's nap

I do, while COD is fun in it's own right I feel like it click..dead...click...dead..click..dead. Battlefield is kind of the same but because everything is so spread out and perks and stuff aren't there there's still some ways to involve strategy. But everything seems really fast paced. All fun to me though.

I just recently started playing GW2 again, the scenery is beautiful. Completely forgot about it.

I tried ESO, but I could not get into it. FFXIV, at launch, was horrible! FFXIV:ARR is really good! Played the beta run on the PS4 this weekend (I played it on PC and PS3 as well for a while). Love the game. Just do not have that kind of time to invest in it. Especially with all the other games. And Steam sales definitely don't help
