You can clear the code with just about anything but you need to physically disable that CEL engine code or move the thresholds of the rear O2 to "0" upper and "0" lower so the ECU never considers there to be anything wrong in the first place. The problem with the rear O2 is that the fuel trims DO in fact adjust based on both pre and post O2s on this car as the ECU tries to get some kind of reaction out of the CAT (which is now missing in your case). Basically the LTFTs will continually hunt looking for anything to happen. It can throw your trims out of wack eventually. Older ECUs literally only used the rear O2 as a gauge to whether the CAT is functioning but todays ECUs (including this one) will allow the rear O2 to also influence the fuel trims.

Until you get something i.e. EcuTek the CEL will always come back on. once the ECU gives up on the CAT.

Looks like I just sold the Vette, got a Camaro SS for Chey until I find her the Trans Am she wants and got a Forged 370 for the RX7 on top of the cash from the sale. This is going to end up being a good day after a bad morning.

The fact he can install coilovers and not coils is scary to be honest with you. It's your choice but you have to understand this is what I do everyday with proper equipment and more importantly knowledge/skill. All of which is really what you are paying for.

We didn't have the right tool to take the spring off that's the reason why

That's my point

It's all good but I seriously do recommend you take advantage of your new found capabilities with the coilovers and get it balanced whether with me or anyone for that matter. It makes a significant difference especially when you are tuned into how the vehicle reacts during stressed scenarios (track) and even daily. That really is the only reason coilovers exist although most think it's because you can usually go lower but again lower is not always better. It's all about proper geometry.
