Meh? I'm rocking a replica STI lip kit, but I have a bunch of actual tS parts. Therefore am I not allowed in here? People come here to be inspired. I'm not sure if you've seen the ASGA Spirit wheels, but at 18x8 +40, 21 lbs and around $800 for wheels that look exactly like the JDM version with better fitment, it's kinda hard to ignore. You can be a purist, sure, but I will guarantee you that no one else will care that you're not rocking the authentic thing. People are already giggling when we put STI parts on a non-turbo'd car.

Either they get it or they don't. Either you get it or you won't.

Here's a fun fact. You can't actually get the wheels from the tS car unless someone with one sells them. This is because those are actually BBS while the available wheels are Enkeis. Why they had them made exactly the same in terms of looks (I assume the BBS version is a lot lighter) is beyond me

Theyre also out of the black ones. I contacted them and they said theyre having issues with their providers so looking into getting a new provider for the wheels...

Oh snap! I didn't know that! Makes sense. I'm still not crazy about 18x7.5, but that's actually not even a big deal because I'm looking at putting 225 width tires on my 18x8.5 BBS wheels and I doubt anyone looking at the car would actually care about the difference in width. Thanks for that info.

Oh snap! I didn't know that either! I hope they can find someone good that makes different sizes. Do you think Subaru made them stop somehow?

I've never heard of a lightweight BBS wheel to be honest. They are twice the price probably because they are forged.

I never knew there are replicas, no wonder I was asked if my wheels are fake. I'll just buy another set of 17" STI for winter in gunmetal again then.

Good news about the STI rims, but pricey :P

"So the word from Subaru Canada is rim is still in production and will not be made available to the dealers here until mid to late May/2014 at a price tag of 520.00 per rim and 33.00 per center cap"

Happy Modding

Not worth it for me when Ontario has 13% tax. I would still rather order from Japanparts + shipping + tax (still cheaper believe it or not and you get to choose from 3 colors, and they INCLUDE STI center caps and Enkei metal valve stems in the box straight from Mitaka Subaru STI).
