Dunno why recent articles suggest the CEO isn't happy. Is he a Mustang fan? That's a pretty bold move to upgrade the suspension. Will render my poor FR-S to age pretty quickly overnight.

I did autocross with it as is and ran Mid America, but it takes a lot of concentration and slower cars still run faster. The BRZ is very refreshing in that it's a slower pace, and I feel much more comfortable driving it hard than the ZO6 depending on where I'm at. The BRZ is a rewarding car with excellent feedback.
Good to hear. I find it a little bit disheartening that people automatically assume the "trollest" in posters when they start these kind of threads. It IS possible to like two very disparate cars. Just because the OP started this thread doesn't make him a "Mustang" or "power" only guy.

But yeah kicking ass in a slow car is way more fun than getting your ass kicked in a fast car.

I'm an fr-s owner, and i'll admit, I'd much rather have the new '15 gt.
As a matter of fact, i'm going to try and get one in December even though it'll be a long shot! lol

The fr-s is a good car, but I do feel you on the lackluster interior. The acceleration isn't very impressive in 80mph traffic either.

Wait for the '15 gt.

Same thing with the fobless entry, and starting the car with the key in your pocket. Just so gimmicky! :P

Take all that effort and apply it to what it's like to drive the thing ... simplify it.

/end_rant

yeah if the size is something you can live with then no problem there. I was just astonished at how large it was despite it "getting smaller". I can literally go stand next to the 2015 Mustang on my lunch break. Or right now.
keyless entry/start =/= gimmicky

True story: back in Nov 2010 I needed a new car and finally settled down on a SX4 Sportback after a enthusiastic test drive (seriously, the SX4 was hugely underrated within it's class for fun-to-drive). The only manual on the lot however was one with the full taco everything, which included a keyless entry/start. At the time I thought "I really don't care about this, need it, or even want it." One month later and I quickly realized it was the most brilliant thing in the history of ever and a gotta have it item for my 86.

C/N: Don't knock it till you tried it. Digging keys out of your pockets to get in your car and go is lame.

Keyless entry and start isn't a gimmicky feature, it's damn convenient.

I haven't found I need much acceleration above 80 mph lol. How fast do you drive? But yes after 3rd gear the car has little acceleration with the stock tune.

One thing in my opinion is the mustang will never have over the twins is the beautiful sleek styling of the twins. The twins almost have an exotic look to them the mustang not so much.

Those of us who track the car would like acceleration after 80.

I'm from Texas. The speed limit is some parts is 80! Lol, Average is 70-75 but Texans love to drive their trucks fast, so the avg is about 80.

Sometimes its tough overtaking turbo diesels that are going 85 blocking your exit!!
