Your ears will thank you. It's not just that it's incredibly loud. It's an annoying sound characteristic as well, very staccato. Think machine gun fire.

Finally finished installing my JDL catted EL header, Nameless catted/helmholtzed over/front pipe and Perrin resonated cat back exhaust. Only problem I have is the v-band for the header is touching the rad-support. Beyond that, holy hell does my car sound amazing! Quiet at idle and cruising, deep and bassy during mild acceleration and barks like the God of Thunder when on the hammer! Tune hasn't come yet, but even with just an off-the-shelf OFT tune NO TORQUE DIP! This beast just pulls from idle to redline. Glorious!

Talk is cheap, though: video tomorrow.

3 inch exhaust or 2.5 inch? I have that same set up without the header and in 3 inch though.

Can't wait to see video, would love to hear it in person sometime too! I have family in Guelph so I'm out that way kinda regularly.

As promised, a quick video of my new catted equal length headers, with a Nameless catted & helmholtzed 2.5" over/front pipe and a Perrin 2.5" resonated catback. Just a few revs followed by a pull to red line through the first three gears. Audio is done with a lavalier mic (ATR-3350) on the rear tow hook.

Was that window down? Wow that's pretty loud but videos can be deceiving.

When u have a chance could you do some drive by toe exterior vids where camera or phone is stationary?? Thanks!

I used a lavalier mic with a 20' cord, so the mic is on the rear tow hook. Drivebys? Give me a few days. Doesn't look like nice weather until Sunday.

Ah that makes sense on the level of sound then, here I though that was interior based on the fact the guage view lol.

No worries, do it when roads are safe I truly respect that as its shit here to.

I do look forward to any further videos and experiences on the catted EL JDL for sure as youre a rare one that chose that route and this is heavily the route Id' like to go once comfortable with the sound etc...

I have their UEL header with a perrin catback, and it is pretty quiet. I say go for it! As long as your catback is quiet, you will have no problems.

Sounds great! Any chance you have a video of it before the header, but with the rest of the exhaust as a contrast?
