What are you on about?

EDIT: You need to read the OP again.

This seems pretty pointless.
Reminds me of the sunroof stickers that make it look like the car has a sunroof. Or the brake caliper covers that make it look like you have high end Brembos or something.

Something done for aesthetics is one thing. Something done to imitate a functional feature by appearance only, is really tacky.

OP, if you want to do this, I encourage you to do it properly and get all the parts to make it functional and actually HAVE the headlight washer system, instead of going the faux route with just a silly cover.

The genuine part is not the problem, using anything to make it look like there's a genuine "JDM" headlight washer system without actually having (any) washer system, is 100% silly. Replica wheels at least serve a function, so your argument seems a bit misdirected.

Early on, GT86 owners didn't want that headlight washer module there. I remember seeing some posts on it 2 years ago. But I really don't want to look that hard for it.

I stand corrected, I thought the EDM/JDM models had actual headlight washers.

do your headlights get dirty enough that it makes a noticeable difference in light output?
oh... they dont? yea so u dont need them and you dont need fake ones lol.

but..... if u must be a cheese ball.....

step 1. get a 1/8in thick sheet of plastic and cut it to the desired size (size of the real ones)

step 2. paint to match.

step 3. throw some 3m tape on the back (if u dont have 3m tape use peanut butter)

step 4. slap that uglyness on your car and enjoy your non-functional headlight washer thingy deals

JDM Headlight Washer ”Sticker“ on Front Bumper

I'm not sure what made me laugh more. ^^^this, or the thought of having hood streakers on my bumper. I dunno bout you guys, but as soon as you spray this ridiculous thing(assuming he goes functional route) then you're gonna have trails if tears running up your hood. Coincidentally everyone else will be crying in shame as well as hurting deeply fo your car. But do you boo-boo, do you.

If the JDM/EDM models have these covers from the factory, then I'd really hope they DO have the washer systems... I was saying that sticking on a cover (genuine JDM or not) by itself is pointless without having a washer system behind it. Just the "look", but no functionality. If the OP wants to do the whole JDM/EDM kit, then

The ironic part is that companies do everything they can to hide these headlight washers, and this guy will do everything possible to make it look like he has headlight washers.

If I was going to do this I would simply look through a scrap yard and pick out the closest looking ones. Paint to match and stick on with 3m tape.

Circle within a circle, paint to match nipples? Mount windshield washer nozzles in both so when you spray your windshield washer, the fluid goes out the front of the nippl-I mean the headlight washers.
