Thank you sir, you clarified it and helped me save 5-6 bills. Now I can put those bills towards sway bars or strut tower braces. What's the difference between those two? Is one better than the other? Edit: nvm figured it out!

A rear strut tower brace on this car is a complete waste of money. On the front they're still open for debate. On a previous platform I played with it was realized after a number of years that having a strut tower bar prevented cracking where the tunnel met the fire wall. I have no idea if that will be an issue on these, but my personal opinion is that is the most compelling reason to put one on this car.

Sorry, just Z1s. I got a an insane deal from a friend so I can't complain (And a chance to test drive a tire for cheap). They have about 5mm tread left. I might be getting Z2s next year I guess.

This is essentially, what I want too. 80% daily driving, 20% spirited, stock rims/tires for now. Mainly want a drop without destroying the shocks while maintaining the car's characteristics. Are there any other springs that will fall under this category? |

Hey guys! I hope you can give me some insight without too much flame, so here it goes...
I'm currently running Eibach Pro Kits on my stock dampers and they're great for a DD. I'm looking into getting coilovers sometime soon after I get my FN01R's rebuilt and I needed your guys' input. I've ran the Godspeed Mono-RS for my 240 before and I loved it. But there's also ST Coilovers for roughly the same price focused more on comfort and daily driving that is making me lean towards it. Bottom Line: Would it be a better investment to get the Godspeed Mono RS or the ST? |

![]() I haven't heard anything on these boards about the Godspeed Mono RS, on the contrary, I have heard that for the price point, it is very hard to beat the ST coilovers. They are indeed KW V1 without the Stainless Steel coating. If your objective is to stay under $1,000 then you may want to look at some Bilstein PSS B14's, which are progressive and very comfortable. Another option is to try a Koni/RCE yellow combo. To my knowledge that combo comes in under 1k as well albeit a little more performance oriented.
