Good luck with 4k revs

However, I was going to wait after my break-in period of 1000 km to start modding. Thoughts? Or is this just an old wives tale?[/QUOTE]

Old wives tale. As Andre would say Let R Rip!!!!!

To the guy who was waiting for his Black FRS and came and talked to me about my white BRZ in my buddies driveway... Let me know when you get your car... I want to see it!

No way to know for sure, strong arguments from either camp. But I believe new motors are already broken in from the factory.

I was flogging my car at the track on day 5! Maybe at 400kms? Still runs like a charm at 40K kms.

Well, I guess it doesn't hurt to take it easy, eh?
I have to take a road trip to Toronto to get my car opti-coated anyway so I'll be good.
Can't wait!

Vlad from Upper Class Detailing will go to your home to Opti-Coat your car. He does an amazing job. @FRS_Ken also uses him.

Funny - he's going to apply Opti-Coat Pro to my rims on April 10. I'll have to email him.

Yeah, I know there are closer detailers.
However, I have a friend who does amazing work in Toronto, so I'm sticking with him.

I'll have to bug Vlad to get my rims done when they come in.

Saw a Black BRZ this morning come out of Bridlewood, waved to him at the Hazeldean Mall light.

I am glad to see the snow slowly clear away from the sides of the roads. For those who are storing their cars, I guess it would be best to wait until sweeping starts or the rain washes the salt away completely, until then I will be patiently waiting and try to talk myself out of driving mine.

Its insane some of the pot holes out there. I spotted several cars changing tires after hitting large pot wholes on the Colonel by drive last week, who knows what the extend of their damages were.
The good news is the city is slowly leveling up the pot wholes.

Unfortunately I'm dropping Opti-Coat Pro due to poor feedback from other detailers. This only happens to the new (current) Opti-Coat Pro version. The old version is great but no one has it. I'll be only offering Opti-Coat 2.0, its formula is still the same and is great.
Vlad did my FRS with OC2.0 last April. I'm taking my CF trim pieces and Beatsonic rear window spoiler to him before I install them. He'll also do my new bumper and CF front Lip at some point before May.

Hey, question for those you drove with snow tires in winter.

I down sized to 205/55/16 X-ice on steel rims and my rear tires have feathering (not side to side, but front to back on each tread block). Did anyone else have that problem? Do you think I have an alignment problem or just aggressive driving…?

Perrin exhaust 2.5 inch resonated

Went on today. Sounds like the car went through puberty. Nice low growl now and looks good on. off by a quarter inch even after playing with it. Oh well. On it's own it will not draw unwanted attention from the police. Very pleased.
