WTB SET OF WHEELS

Looking for a set of 18's square set up something like a 18x8.75 +30-45 with 235's all round.

$1200.00 Budget - Save more money? Any suggestions?

If you are going to track, save a bit more money. It will make the day much more enjoyable. If not, still save more for better tires. $1200 will get you decent rims, but not with tires. You'll be getting low-end knockoffs and shit tires for a $1200 package. (Wear will suck, wet will suck, dry will suck, rim finish will suck) lol

Decent brand rims for the money would be Varrstoen, Rota, and Enkei for that price point. If you can fit $2000 you'll have higher quality material and tires which will actually improve the FRS

I got Gramlight 57DR and Hankook RS3's. Can't be happier!

My friend own a tuning/parts company. Been in business for years and racing even longer. Fair man, fair prices.

www.stagefourmotorsports.com, or check them on FB!

(I do not work for them, just like to promote smaller well experienced teams)

You could go for a wheel like the XXR527. 1010tires.com (located in GTA) has them for around $160 a wheel (just over $700 for a set after taxes). And then you could get some cheap tires or go for something like Michelin PSS for around $800...

So i say expect to pay closer too $1500 for everything

Not too offend, just to help OP. XXR has been known for their paint to flake off after a season or two. So OP just know you get what you pay for. Just like everything in life. If you want to spend less, consider used wheels. Lots of old Subarus guys get rid of decent rims.

Used wheels sound like the way to go as long as they're not too beat up. Thanks guys I'll have a look around if anyones selling a set give me a shout.

If you're going to buy them used and they are a decent price, bring it to a tire shop and make sure they are true before you give the guy any money.
