Don't buy it! The lines were not right length and the fittings were wrong. No brackets. I had to spend 300 more $ to make it right.

The only thing good about it is it has a bigger reservoir.

So I loaded up Bills new tune and it feels really good down low...no hesitation or surging. It is however, surging now upon about half throttle in the mid 4-5k range....it feels to me as though the bypass valve doesn't know if it wants to close or open.
Like I said this is about half throttle, maybe a little more. If you give it more throttle it just goes into full boost and then it's all good.

Really? Been trying out the 8.52 flex fuel version and haven't noticed that - this on 91/93 OE e85?

Interesting - been in the process of transitioning from e70 down to 93 pump - currently at e30 on the way down - will keep an eye out on 93 to see how it performs for me.

This only happens if you increase the throttle slowly.....if you mash on it it just boosts. Partial throttle feels good, maybe 25%, then if you increase it slowly it starts spitting and sputtering like crazy until you give it more gas....as I said, maybe the bypass valve needs a bit more throttle input to fully actuate and close, although I could be totally wrong. To me it feels like it's opening and closing rapidly which is causing the surging. If anyone has more knowledge on this please chime in!

Mine does the exact same. It is incredibly smooth, with the exception of what you're describing.

If I go WOT, it rips. If I crawl, it is smoother than before (and it was SMOOTH before). However, around 5k RPM mine spits and sputters a bit if I slowly roll on the gas. I've noticed that once the car is warmed up, it's not as bad...but it's still there. Not sure if I'm liking it.

For what its worth I've noticed the car isn't happy at all cold - once warm though I haven't seen the choppiness. I will agree that WOT the car screams - really hoping once I get down to pure 93 I'm not experiencing the same. The car so far on Bills tune was nice, minus a small adjustment going from e70 to e30. ( AM dropped down to around .32 before climbing back up to 1).

I have experienced what you describe but it's only if I really creep into WOT. Almost doing it intentionally. Like fiddling with the entry point into WOT.

I only felt it while throughly testing the tune, not during ordinary driving.

I tested an earlier version and it was less noticeable but WOT didn't have the full punch either. I like the latest version the best so far, but who knows what is possible.

I encourage you to send Bill your feedback in detail so that it could potentially benefit us all, he has been very open to the feedback I have provided so far.
