Loud CLICK When Turning Right
Hello!
I'm getting a loud click when I turn my steering wheel all the way to the right. See the video below: Thoughts on where it might be coming from? I was thinking the steering column, since the only time it makes the noise is when I turn the wheel. I doubt it could be the strut because it never makes the sound when going over bumps. |

I want to say mine does something similar, but hasn't in a while. Good luck figuring it out.

My car does this as well, however, it comes from the right rear and it was due to a semi loose sway bar end link.

That sounds like it could be the issue. There's a lot of play on the sway bar when I turn, so it would make sense that my right end link could be making the sound.

Have you taken off your skid plate before? Mine was doing something like that too and only on rights on the same wheel, wasnt suspension or anything. Then I took off my skid plate to do mtec springs and it stopped making the noise after I put it back on, it was probably misaligned.

On a side note, how are you liking the mtec springs? I really want to install them but I've read it's a pain in the ass -- especially having to clean off the loctite. Was it worth the trouble? |

Good luck! It was bugging me so much til I figured it was skid plate. It was actually pretty easy to do, make sure you have a 1/2" swivel wrench for the detent and it comes off with ease. For the loctite just get a rag and some acetone or alcohol and wipe it, takes time but it flattens enough to put the detent back in. Couldn't remove all of it lol.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Any updates on this? Took it to my mechanic. He tightened everything and it stopped, but he also made my steering numb so he doesn't know exactly what fixed it. Would like to get my steering feel back. Kinda regret taking it in now.
