I pulled the clips out unplugged and removed both sensors with the header, it's a lot easier to swap them out off car.

From behind with a small flathead. Two barbs need to be pressed flat. Do the top and rock the clip down. Then do the bottom and out it comes. Maybe it was left and right not top and bottom but same idea.

As for the two plastics holding the wire,
cut them off with a knife/scissor?
Worried I might damage the wire

Oh that was for the clips holding the wire. The plug just has a little deal you press or lift or something with a little catch.

The clips that were directly in the block I just pried out with a small flathead. The other 2 that were in the small brackets, I first unbolted the brackets, then used pliers to press the clips together and out, from the backside of the brackets.

Had my local Subaru mechanic install this header on Friday. The flanges that bolt up to the block were off a bit, causing leak issues. After a couple of tries we double gasketed it with about 50 lb ft of torque.

Perrin 2.5 overpipe and full exhaust, couldnt be happier with the sound. Definitely more power available, lots more fun to drive. I am untuned until nameless releases theirs, hopefully soon. At this point I have put about 250 miles on it so the computer should be settled.

Double gaskets gave you no more leaks from the flanges?

And I assume it was flat side of the gasket on the header flange and flat side of the other gasket against the bock?

So let me get this straight, there are some Nameless fanboys that call out competitors for shoddy craftsmanship suggesting Nameless is the pinnacle yet their flanges don't even line up? Yikes...

I am selling my nameless performance header. Sucks that I didn't even get to run it for a month but i'm ordering a turbo kit tomorrow. Wish it would have came sooner. Anybody interested in the header can PM me for a good price. Uncoated and used for 3 weeks, around 400 miles on it. I have a spacer for the o2 sensor for those untuned so it won't throw a CEL

The flanges line up, they just need to be torque a little more than oem specs. Around 35 ft lbs with new gaskets made mine stop leaking

Just FYI, if your header leaks initially, don't go right to double gaskets or jump to conclusions that the flanges are poorly made. Give it a chance to warm up and try repositioning and tightening things up after it's hot. Mine leaked noticeably at first. I was able to tighten the bolts better after it got hot. Within a few minutes the gaskets set and the leak has completely gone away.

I was installing mine yesterday and we tried tightening things cold and hot. Still have a leak. Having the car looked at today. I got my baseline dyno Saturday, once I get the leak sorted out I'll run an untuned dyno, then get it tuned and once more on the rollers. Should have results by late next week.
