Hopefully all goes well/better from here on out (with the car and the situation itself).

Yea im hoping that i get restitution through court but im over the situation for the most part. Realized the girl is no good, ive sinced mated with her two good friends/neighbors, and Ive already paid the $500 deductible to get it fixed so if i get it back itll just be extra wheel money.

Just a little update on my car getting hit with the baseball bat.
Geico tried to get in touch with the kid and I guess he just never responded. They gave me a 30 day window where he had that long to respond before they brought legal action upon him, but not too long after that I got a letter stating that because he is uninsured, there was pretty much no chance to get my money back. Still not really sure what I want to do about it, or if I should just make a "mature" decision and let it go. I've decided against painting my headlights black for the time being. I have about 1.5 years left on my lease and I'm not really sure what my final decision will be, so I'm just not going to make any big changes until I make some kind of decision. I'd rather buy some that are plug n play at this point rather than painting my stock ones. Kind of at a stalemate with the car, I'd like to finish it off with wheels and the headlights, but I'm never satisfied and I can't stop looking at other new cars. The smarter financial decision would be to keep my car and finance the other 17k I will owe, but the thought of getting into a Mercedes or Audi excites me. At least I have about a year to decide. Creeping up on 20k miles....

My guess is that by the time your lease is up there will probably be a higher performance optioned FRS/BRZ out or very close to coming out (2015 model refresh). You were saying that you would like an extra 40-50 hp so I'd imagine moving over into one of the newer models would be right up your alley rather than paying off the rest of your 2013.
If you're not absolutely sure you're gonna keep it I think it's a smart decision not to invest too much more into it like you said. Or at least not anything that can't be changed back to OEM at the end of your lease. As far as the baseball bat incident, definitely try to get your money back if you can, other than that just shrug it off and let it go. I personally believe that being able to laugh off immature people and not let it bother me is 100x more rewarding than any sort of 'revenge' I could take out on them. Cheers and Good luck!

So its been a while. Not much new going on with the car, would love to do some things, but i think the smart decision would be to wait and see what i do about my lease ending in just over a year.

What's the clearance like with your exhaust. I'm thinking of doing the same setup soon.

Thats actually the only issue I have with the Borla exhaust. When stock, theres no problem. When my car was on coilovers with an estimated 2 inch drop, the exhaust was the first thing to scrape. I don't have numbers for you but if you plan on lowering the car a good bit, you may want to explore other options. I was one of the first people with the exhaust, so things couldve changed due to customer reaction. The sound of the exhaust is perfect for my taste though.

Tdoggy57's Asphalt AT
Cant believe I havent checked out this thread for over a year. There hasnt been much to update until lately. Im now over 35 months and 36k miles in on my lease and ive decided to keep the car. Best decision all around for me financially and it still satisfies my craving for an awesome car.
Shes had all of her oil changes on schedule with the last change also including the toyota 30k maitenance. No issues besides the condensation in one taillight and the squeaky windows. I swear the car wash I always go to has damaged my bumper. At first it was just the very bottom corner of the front driver side, but I got my car washed the other day and now I have what are fresh scratches on the back. Nothing i can really do and the scratches are pretty deep so not sure what I can even do besides replace. Sucks In better news, with my decision to keep the car came the decision to do a couple of things ive been wanting to. I STILL havent gotten my blacked out turn signals installed, but thats on the agenda. Front windows should be retinted again this week. A body shop has been slacking with my replacement Grazio front emblem and sidemarkers, so I have to get on them. But I did get wheels! I went with the 18x8.5 Enkei RS05-RR and were just installed yesterday. Ive loved these wheels since before they were available in the states and got a great deal on them from a forum member. I have eibach pro-line springs that just came in the mail yesterday, but the weather probably wont allow me to get them on today(so possibly all week). Heres a teaser with the wheels on stock suspension. So after i get these springs and turn signals installed, and hopefully my front emblem replacement will be in, Ill be inching closer to being satisfied. I still need to figure out a darker headlight solution and pick some taillights. Ill post some pics whenever I get the springs on and try to keep this up to date. If youve read this far, thanks lol.
